OrbitHome collects energy consumption data from your connected devices and utility providers, including but not limited to: power usage (kW), energy consumption (kWh), cost data, device identifiers, and usage patterns. We also collect account information such as your name, email address, and billing information when you register.
We may collect certain technical data automatically, including your IP address, browser type, device identifiers, and usage analytics to improve our service. This data is used solely for service improvement and security purposes.

We never sell your energy data. We may share anonymized, aggregated data with research institutions for energy efficiency studies. We share data with Stripe for payment processing, and with your utility provider's API when you connect your account.
We use essential cookies for authentication and session management. Analytics cookies help us understand how you use OrbitHome. You can accept or decline non-essential cookies via our cookie consent banner.
All data is encrypted in transit using TLS 1.3 and at rest using AES-256 encryption. Access is restricted to authorized personnel only. We perform regular security audits and penetration testing.
You have the right to: access your data, export your data in machine-readable format, request deletion of your account and data, and opt out of non-essential cookies. Contact us at privacy@orbit-home.app to exercise these rights.
Energy data is retained for 36 months for historical analysis. Account data is retained until account deletion plus a 30-day grace period. After deletion, all data is permanently removed from our systems within 90 days.
OrbitHome is not intended for users under 16 years of age. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.
We will notify users of material changes to this policy via email and in-app notification at least 30 days before implementation.
